Spring Walk 2012
On Sunday May 6th around 30 Welsh
Springer Spaniels congregated at the ‘Café on the Green’ at the Alice Holt
Forest near Farnham, for the Spring Walk, organized
as usual, by George Isherwood. A number
of these were puppies almost all of them from one litter, a great place to meet
up with Mum and various other relatives!
The little ones only did a short walk and returned to the Café for tea
and cakes etc to wait for the rest to return.
The full walk did have quite a bit of mud around so the Welshies who returned bore no relationship to the pristine,
whiter than white ones that arrived at the beginning!
The weather decided to be kind to us and
managed to stay dry, no sun, but with the recent weather we were just happy
that we did not require full waterproof clothing!
It appeared that all enjoyed themselves
again this year and hopefully will return next May for a ‘follow up’, if you
were unable to attend this time, do try to join us in the future as it is so
wonderful to see all these lovely Welshies racing around
together, yes it was almost all off lead this year, just sharing the track at
times with various bicycles!
See you in
2013!!
