PICK N MIX TRAINING DAY

Held on Sunday June 7th 2009

At Steve Pick’s home in East Hoathly.

Early in the morning it was believed that this new innovation for the Club would be ‘washed out’ as the rain slashed down in East Hoathly.  However by the time the Committee and helpers arrived it was just dull and cloudy, and this cleared during the morning and the day continued in glorious warm sunshine.

45 Trainees and a total of 90 tickets sold for lunch, made this day a great success even before anyone arrived! Trainees had a choice of Ringcraft, Obedience, Agility and Field training during the day, with a chance to do a little of everything if they so wished – and most did! The Kennel Club Good Citizens Award Scheme (Bronze) was also available for anyone who wished to ‘have a go’, many did with 10 Passes at the end of the day.

It is hoped that everyone had an enjoyable day – the Committee felt it went well and grateful thanks are due to Stephen Pick (Chairman of the Club) who once again loaned his house and land for the Club to use.
