AUTUMN WALK 2008

What a lovely day it was.  But the car park at Newlands Corner was a very full as not only where the motor bikes there but also the Caterham 7 car club seemed to be there as well.

There were about 21 dogs when we started.  Ruth was leading and gave the pep talk at the start before all posed for the "family" photo.  Gordon and I shepherded the flock around the walk with no losses!

As usual there was the stop at St Martha's Church (which is constructed on a sand dune - you can see the sand beneath the walkers feet).  It's interesting to look this up on Wikipedia,  It tells you all about the green sand ridge and the fact the church is on the Pilgrims Way, etc.
