Working Dog Training

 

This club runs occasional club-wide training events, but for more regular training we are encouraging owners to attend local groups and trainers who are empathetic to the Welsh Springer.

 

A keen organizer of training and tests is the national coordinator of the United Spaniel Association,  Shula Shipton (Field Spaniels), mainly around the Burton-on-Trent area:

Hampshire Gundog Society runs training classes fortnightly during the summer on Monday evenings at various locations around Hampshire.  The Spaniel Trainer is familiar with all breeds of spaniel and is particularly knowledgeable of the minor breeds. The training coordinator is Carol Page:
