A selection of past rescued Welshies
WELSH SPRINGER SPANIEL RESCUE SCHEME Welsh Springer Spaniel Rescue was set up by a group of volunteers approximately 40 years ago. They mainly consisted of show enthusiasts who were concerned about the welfare of any Welsh Springers that were for whatever reason in need of a new home or temporary fostering. Many of the original group are still involved with Rescue today and we greatly value their experience and expertise. The organisation is supported by the Kennel Club and has now achieved Charity Status. We consist of about a dozen Representatives scattered around the country ably assisted by a band of helpers that can step in to perform home checks, transportation or fostering and we can usually respond very quickly if a dog is in need. We are committed to the ongoing support and training of our representatives and helpers so that we can provide the best possible service. If anyone feels that they would like to offer their help in any way then please feel free to contact myself or their local Representative to discuss further.
