CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW
SUNDAY 12TH OCTOBER 2008-10-22
DOGS
Judge – Mrs Val Roach
Thank you to everyone
for a lovely day, especially my two stewards.
I do feel the overall quality of the younger dogs was poor. Temperaments were good. My CC and RCC winners were very typical. I wished I had two CCs as both are worthy of
being champions. I think the remark made
by my friend, who hadn’t watched Welsh Springers for sometime was relevant, “whats happening to the rich red colour?”, she said, I
agree, there are too many nearly English colour and a Welsh wouldn’t be a Welsh
without its gorgeous colour.
MINOR PUPPY (1)
Summers’ HILLROBIN HAMLET A nice puppy full of himself at his first show. Lovely
head, well balanced, nice feet, rare sight today. Movement was erratic, but once he settles
down to showing should do well.
PUPPY (1)
Reynolds’ KYLOWEN QUIN Needs time when I hope he will develop, would
like to see more chiselling in the head.
Moved well but carries his tail on the high side.
JUNIOR (2)
1. Daltry & Brooks
MAGREGOR MANOLETE AT BANADANCE Nice head, nice slope of shoulders, good hind
quarters which he really drove with when moving.
2. Tully’s HIGHCLARE TYCOON A nice headed dog that needs time to develop. He needs to tighten in front. He was carrying his tail on the high side,
nice coat condition.

balanced dog. Lovely head with kind expression. Good
