OPEN SHOW HELD AT BLETCHINGLEY ON SUNDAY 28TH JANUARY 2007

 

A delightful entry of 136 was made by 90 exhibits with 14 absentees.  BIS was Tully’s bitch Highclare Energizer, BOS/RBIS was Rees’ Dog Sh Ch Typica Goldigger. RBD was Troth’s Taimeres Turnabout for Collinsmoore and RBB was Tully’s Highclare Queens Logic. BPIS was Jones’ bitch Pennylock Queen Lizzie.

 

 

 

MINOR PUPPY DOG (4.0)

1. BPD Jones’ PENNYLOCK QUIN

8 months, forward for age. Masculine head, good neck and forehand angulation. Well made substantial bone and feet, on which he scored. Excellent body and ribs, well turned hindquarters and strong hocks. Very promising.

2. WillaimsTREBETTYN BEVIN BOY

6 months, promising baby. Excellent head carriage, neck and forehand angulation, on which he scored. Shapely bone to limbs. Strong loin and hindquarters. Good mover in excellent coat and condition.

3. Ridge’s SAANU NORTHERN LIGHTS

7 months. Neat head, eye and ear. Clean neck. Would like a little more forechest and substance in bone.  Scored well in soundness of movement.

 

PUPPY DOG (4.0)

6 months, up to size. Although a little upright through forehand he scored in bone and feet, strength of loin and turn of hindquarters. Just needs time to gather a little more beam all through.

 

JUNIOR DOG (4.1)

1. Renny & Duncan’s REDFRITH DUTCH MASTER

12 months dog, very forward for age.  Masculine head, good nose. Well made throughout for angulation and construction, on which he scored. Substantial bone, body and ribcage. Strong loin and hindquarters, powerful stifles and hocks. Excellent presentation.

2. Batey’s AMBLELIGHT CENTAUR

14 months. Well made head and eye with intelligent expression. A shade upright in forehand. Fair ribs, loin and hindquarters. Would like a little more angulation fore and aft. Sympathetically handled and moved well once settled into stride.

3. Smith’s AMBLELIGHT MERCURY

14 months. Neat head with sweet eye and expression. A little upright through forehand. Would like more spring of rib and second thigh in hindquarters. Shapely bone and feet.

 

SPECIAL YEARLING DOG (7.1)

22 months, blanket marked. Good skull and muzzle. Stop a shade deep. Gentle eye and well hung ears. Excellent clean neck and forehand angulation, on which he scored. Correct bone and feet. Well made ribcage, powerful loin and excellent hindquarters, with well developed second thighs. Sound mover with an easy stride.

2. Renouf & Montague’s RANWOLF DELLING

21 months. Masculine head with good eye and expression, nose and jaws. Fair neck and forehand with good bone and feet. Well made body and ribs, on which he scored. Would like a little more second thigh.

3. Wakeman’s SHERDREW ECHO POINT

Well made head with typical eye and expression, good nose and ear. Fair neck, upper arm a shade short. Would like a little more spring of rib. Good loin and hindquarters. Fair mover.

20 months. Attractive head, eye and expression. Good nose, muzzle and ears. Rather lightly built all through. Would like a little more angulation fore and aft. In good coat and condition.

3. Robinson’s FIERGEN SILVER DOLLAR

2 years. Masculine head. Good body and ribs. Elbows and feet a little loose. Would like more second thigh. Inclined to pace on the move. Good coat and condition.

2 years dark red/w. Fair head with well set eye and moulding to muzzle. Excellent neck and forehand angulation, bone structure to limbs. Correct ribs, loin and hindquarters. Sound free mover with a fair gait. Excellent coat and feathering. Scored in topline, balance and movement.

2 years. Attractive. Neat head with kind eye and expression. Ears a trifle heavy. Good head carriage, fair shoulders, upper arm rather short. Shapely bone and feet. Well made ribs, body and loin.

5 years. Stood out for type and balance. Masculine head with good skull and muzzle, well set and shaped eye with good expression. Excellent neck and forehand, bone and feet, on which he scored. Correct ribcage, strongly coupled body, powerful loin and hindquarters. Sound mover with effortless stride.

4 years. Masculine, substantially built. Lovely eye shape, set and expression. Fair neck, rather upright through forehand. Good bone and feet. Excellent body, ribs, back, loin and hindquarters, on which he scored. Good mover with stylish astride.

3. Tubb’s PARKMIST MASTER DANCER FOR ALSUTU

5 years. Good over all make and shape. Angulation a little open. Has quality and substance. Scored in ribcage, body, loin and hindquarters. Moved well. Well handled and presented in good order.

2 years. Excellent over all type, make and shape. Has masculinity, quality and substance all in the correct proportions. Typical head, well moulded and good eye and expression. Clean neck and shoulders. Good upper arm. Excellent legs and feet. Well made ribcage, body and loin. Strongly constructed hindquarters and muscles. Sound, free mover presented in superb coat and condition.

3 years. Slightly larger blanket marked dog. Masculine head with good skull and eye. Fair neck and shoulders, good bone to limbs. Excellent ribcage and body. Strong, powerful loin and well turned hindquarters. Moved well. In good coat and feather.

3. Wren’s SAANU COPPER BEECH AT GWYNMARREN

5 years. Beautifully marked dog of quality and substance. Typical, with good proportions over all. Clean skull, fair neck, would like a shade more angulation to forehand. Excellent well knit ribs and body with good hindquarters. Pressed winners hard and always commanded attention.

 

VETERAN DOG (7.2) All of the exhibits were a credit to their owners.

11 years. Proportionate outline. Good skull, eye and ear. Pleasing neck and shoulders. Correct ribcage in depth and spring. Close coupled body on which he scored and sturdy hindquarters. Still driving off his hocks with great power. Correct bone and substance. In excellent physical order.

2. Tubb’s MELLADOMINA MAKE HASTE FOR ALSUTU

7 years. Masculine blanket marked dog. Lovely head and expression. Good neck and well angulated forehand. Shapely bone and feet. Big ribs, and well make hindquarters. Moved well.

8 years. Neatly made head with good eye and expression. Attractive over all make and shape. Excellent legs and feet. Would like a little more spring of rib. Good mover.

8 months. Excellent over all type. Feminine head good skull, miuzzle, eye and expression. Dark pigmentation. Excellent head carriage, neck and forehand construction. Good bone and feet, on which she scored. Well made ribs, strong body and loin. Correct hindquarters. Very sound on the move and gave a polished performance for one so young to take top honours away from her brother in the final challenge.

2. Tew’s PAMICKS CHASING A DREAM

6 months. Sweet and feminine with dark eye. Neat neck and shoulders. Would prefer a shade more upper arm and a little more substance. Shapely body, ribs and hindquarters. Moved well.

3. Buckwell’s KILLENA ADDICTED TO LOVE

6 months. Similar type to 2. Excellent head, eye and expression. Dark pigmentation. Clean neck. Rather upright through forehand. Shapely outline. Just needs a little more confidence to make the most of her movement.

9 months. Lovely head, eye and expression. Strong jaws. Good shoulders and fair upper arm. Well made body and ribs. Strong loin and shapely hindquarters with good hocks. Correctly set on and carried tail. Promising.
