VD (3,0); 1. Duncan’s Ir Sh Ch Redfrith Chianti JW, masculine head with deep stop and good ear set, shoulders well laid back, good spring of rib, strong topline, moved with enthusiasm. 2. Tubb’s Parkmist Master Dancer for Alsutu, typical head, nice proportions, good eye and expression, well sprung ribs, good bone and muscling, just preferred movement of 1. 3. Smith’s Amblelight Mercury.

JD (4,1a); 1. Luckett-Roynon’s Solva Giorgio, enthusiastic youngster, 16 months, presents a nice outline, pleasing head, good muscle and bone, clean in neck leading to well laid back shoulders, tight feet, nice topline held well on the move. 2. Isherwood’s Amblelight Trapezium Star, nice head and eye, correct bite, ample bone, good spring of rib, tail set on low, another who was merry on the move. 3. WoodhamsTobermyn Minstrel Boy.

 

SYD (1); 1. Barkley’s Cherryheath’s Mr Mischief JW ShCM, handsome dog, mature for age, ample bone, well muscled, masculine head with deep stop, deep brisket and good spring of rib, firm topline, tight catlike feet, well presented and shown.

 

ND (1); 1. Isherwood’s Amblelight Trapezium Star.

 

GD (3, 1a); 1. Stone’s Stedigan Pipers Piping, nice workmanlike dog, up to size, lovely temperament, good bone structure, pleasing head, holds a nice topline, moderate bend of stifle, tail set on low. 2. Luckett-Roynon’s Solva Giorgio.

 

PGD (1); 1. Wright’s Amblelight Alioth, compact dog of a slightly smaller mould, nice muscle and bone, well sprung ribs, pleasing topline, moderate bend of stifle, tight catlike feet.

 

LD (5); 1. Caldwell & McDowell’s Gemill Back To The Future For Cerysan JW, quality male who presents a very nice outline, lovely head and expression, good reach of neck leading into sloping shoulders, good angulations throughout, deep brisket and good spring of rib, hocks set low, good tail carriage, good bone and muscling, moved well with drive and enthusiasm, beautifully shown and presented, BD, RBIS, BOS. 2. Smith’s Amblelght Mercury, masculine dog, nice bend of stifle, good spring of rib, nice head, good bone and muscle. 3. Gills’ Brenros Take Me Right Round JW.

 

OD (4, 1a); 1. Tew’s Pamicks Dazzling Boy JW, lovely balanced dog, masculine head with good length of muzzle and defined stop, nice front with good shoulder placement and length of upperarm giving him reach on the move, whilst his good rear angulation and length of hock gave him the desired drive from behind, lovely topline and good depth of chest, RBD. 2. Ridge’s Saanu Northern Lights, nice head and eye, shoulder placement not quite that of 1 but good length of leg, strong topline and good spring of rib, nice tight feet, muscular and presented in good coat and condition, moved well. 3. Allen’s Pacey Acer of Pauletaire.

 

Spec Beg D (2, 1a); 1. WoodhamsTobermyn Minstrel Boy, just 12 months and still to mature into his frame, masculine head with deep stop, nice ear shape, good forequarters, lovely tight feet, moved with enthusiasm.

 

Good Citizen Dog (3); 1. Tubb’s Parkmist Master Dancer for Alsutu. 2. Isherwood’s Amblelight Trapezium Star. 3. Wright’s Amblelight Alioth.

Duncan’s SH CH/IR SH CH Redfrith Foreign Affair JW ShCM CJW07 CW07 EW09, nice type, gentle expression, correct bite, strong muscular neck leading into laid back shoulders, straight front, well sprung ribs, nice topline with good rise over the loin, in good coat and condition, best mover in this class, BVIS. 2. Caldwell’s Cerysan Alexa, nice 9 year old thoroughly enjoying her day, nice head, good muscling throughout, deep brisket and well sprung ribs, moderate bend of stifle and hocks well let down. 3. Wren’s Glenbrows Playtime at Gwynmarren.

Woodward & Thomas’ Bowdonia Time To Dream, lovely 11 month youngster, loved her for type, feminine head with good proportions, balanced throughout with good angulations, straight front, good spring of rib and correct topline, tail set on low, tight catlike feet, ample bone and muscling throughout, moved out soundly, quality bitch who should have a promising future ahead of her, thoroughly deserved her BPIS. 2. Thomas’ Bowdonia Moment To Shine, litter sister to 1 and of a slightly longer cast, pleasing head and ear set, ample bone and muscling throughout, well sprung ribs, another quality youngster but just preferred overall type and frame of 1. 3. Greenway’s Ferndel Story Time.

 

JB (1); 1. Thomas’ Bowdonia Moment To Shine.

 

SYB (4, 1a); 1. Tew’s Pamicks Tilly Trotting JW, another nice bitch presented in lovely coat and condition, developing well for her age and presents a pleasing outline, pretty head carried on a good strong muscular neck, nice angulations throughout, hocks let down,  moved well for her handler. 2. Watson’s Welingerhill Garden Tiger of Hillpark, another who I really liked for overall type, strong in head but with a sweet expression, ribs well sprung, correct topline good bone structure, tight feet,, moved with drive, close decision between these two but just needs time to mature into her frame. 3. Smith’s Cherryheath’s Miss Dior.

Wren’s Ferndel Eostre at Gwynmarren, pretty bitch with lots to like, feminine head, straight front, nice topline, good spring of rib, strong muscular loin, good angulations throughout, moved well, with just a little more confidence she should trouble many. 2. Luckett-Roynon’s Solva Guiletta, compact workmanlike bitch, good muscling and bone structure throughout, well defined stop, good length of muzzle, nice rise over the loin, moderate bend of stifle, tail set on low and carried well on the move. 3. White’s Fiergen Steamy Windows.

 

PGB (8, 2a); 1. Thomas’ Bowdonia Star Catcher JW, presents a nice balanced outline, nice head with good proportions, correct bite, good angulations front and rear, well muscled throughout with short coupling, moved out soundly. 2. Jennings & Donovan’s Gemill Electra, pretty feminine bitch, good shoulder placement, good depth of chest and spring of rib, hocks well let down, tight feet, just preferred movement of 1 on the day. 3. Charles’ Menstonia Iolanthe of Stagarth.

 

LB (5, 1a); Strongest class of the day. 1. Sutherland’s Julita Rezanella of Jacranella, a real first class bitch who is just full of quality and breed type, caught my eye as she entered the ring and did not disappoint on handling, feminine head with good proportions, good fore and rear angulations, well sprung ribs, good second thigh giving her driving rear action, shown and presented in beautiful condition to finish the picture, delighted to award her BB and BIS. 2. Monday’s Hillrobin Brockanfield Among Ambika, another top quality bitch, compact and balanced throughout, lovely sweet head with kind eye and expression, nice angulations, good length and depth of rib, nice topline with rise over the loin and correct tailset and carriage, good muscle and bone throughout and moves soundly, a very close decision between these two but today she just lacked the overall finish of 1, RBB. 3. Dixon’s Menstonia Fair Chance.

 

OB (4, 1a); Thomas’ Sh Ch Bowdonia Sweet Dreams JW, lovely bitch worthy of her title, balanced throughout with plenty of substance,  typical head, muscular neck, shoulders well laid back, good length of upperarm, nice topline, moderate bend of stifle and hocks well let down, her sound driving action on the move won her the class. 2. Tew’s Pamicks Miss Holly Hocks JW ShCM, another close decision in this class, lovely head and eye, balanced with good length of body, nice reach of neck, good angluations throughout, correct topline, strong hindquarters, deep second thigh, good feet, moved well. 3. Duncan’s Ir Sh Ch Redfrith Betty Boop CJW10 CW11 IRJN CH.

Good Citizen B (7, 1a); 1. Dixon’s Menstonia Fair Chance, another who presents a pleasing profile, compact and built to work, nice head and expression, good ear set, nice fore angulations, firm topline with rise over the loin, plenty of spring of rib, good tail set and carriage, moved well. 2. Barkley’s Cherryheath’s Miss Chief JW, of a slightly taller mould than 1, balanced outline, nice head, shoulders laid back, deep brisket, plenty of body and bone, nice topline, hocks well let down, lovely tight feet, in good coat, correct tail set and carried well on the move. 3. Wren’s Ferndel Eostre at Gwynmarren.

 

Spec Working D/B (2, 1a); White’s Fiergen Private Dancer, feminine head with gentle expression and correct ear set, strong muscular neck, straight front, nice topline and good muscling over the loin, lovely feet, moved out well.

 

Spec New Members D/B (2); 1. Greenway’s Ferndel Story Time, 9 month old enthusiastic youngster, of a slightly longer cast, lovely head and eye, nice ear set and shape, good spring of rib, ample bone, nice tight feet, used her tail well on the move. 2. WoodhamsTobermyn Minstrel Boy.
