Autumn Walk 2007

On 7^th October 2007 some 19 Welsh Springers and their owners collected at Newlands Corner on Albury Downs for the Autumn Walk.  The weather was kind and after the initial climb, everyone enjoyed the wonderful views from St Martha’s Church at the top of St Martha’s Hill, followed by a descent of the hillside through woodland containing many interesting and rare plant species, into the valley, thence the final climb up the Downs to the starting point. The walk allowed the dogs to be off lead most of the time and they, and their owners enjoyed plenty of good exercise!
